Our History

For years St. Paul Academy served inner city and special needs students faithfully. When St Paul closed, Pastor George P. Lee III, Ph.D. of St. John the Baptist “Mighty Fortress” was unwilling to forget the current students of St. Paul, and unwilling to ignore the needs of future students, so he founded St. John Academy in 2014. Pastor Lee was blessed with a vision and called to a purpose to bring the St. John Academy into existence to meet the current and future needs of these students, serve the community, and glorify God.
